Vlog part 3

February Continued

February is a good time to help out the wild birds. Many species are dying out and there are certainly a lot less birds around than there was when I was growing up.

I’ve gone youtube!

Oranges and Lemons

Took some compost in today and sowed a few pips and seeds. Goji, Lemon and Cherry. I also did a few Asters just for good measure. How will we get on? I’ll keep you posted! I’m hoping the weather is nice tomorrow. I have some meadowflower seeds in the garage. Would be nice to find a place to scatter them!

The orange tree

So there we was at work in august 2008 and Jason nearly broke his toothypeg on an orange pip. Or is it a satsuma? Gah…I don’t fully remember, but here it is in all its glory over 2 years later. We are rather proud of it and I feel it deserves to be my first real mention.

Hello world!

Well hello there. *dusts compost off sweater*

Glad you have found me. Over the next few months I shall be posting many articles on gardening and associated subjects. Hopefully they will be of use to many of you. If this is so, then perhaps you would like to remember/link/share this blog and return to it frequently.

Don’t forget to visit the About page for more info.

Also just created the Habitats page. It offers a list of how your can enhance the wildlife in your garden. Time for a break now though so more to follow later.  Stay safe!

There is now a Bees page. Learn how you can provide refuge for one of the most important species of wildlife to human beings! This is perhaps the most useful page that will ever be on this blog. Especially if people take action.
